I plan on getting these wheels for my fit, they make custom offset, so if I get 16x7 +50, and I lower the car with either eibach pro kit or gf210 (not looking to slam the car) will I need camber bolts in the front to avoid rubbing?
Work Wheels :: Products :: XSA 02C Mighty
I have a WRX to drive for autox and track, Fit is me and my gf's car

I would suggest 48 mm offset since you can get custom offsets. 45 if as bought.
The problem of rubbing will arise if you use a tire too large in diameter. To be safe, 205/45x16 tires are likely the biggest you can use, and they are only 23.26" diameter, about 3/4" smaller than stock 185/55x16's but there is only 3% change in speed vs speedo or odo reading (1.8 mph 'error' at 60 mph and 30 'added' miles every 1000 miles on your odo.) Your Fit will like it better tho.
If you want to test, use 6 mm (1/4") spacers on your stock wheels to see if you get rubbing. If you don't, you will be pretty safe with 205/45x16 tires on 16x7/45 mm wheels and a 1.5" drop.
good luck.

I think you will rub with lowering.

I rub occasionally and my setup is
16x7 +43
205/50 GoodYear F1's
DF210s
with camber bolts set to max negative.

Well, I made the jump and bought some wheels today. I'll be running some 17x7 +40 wheels with 205-45-17 tires. I also ordered some Eibach Pro Kit but I have no idea when I'm gonna get them! I'm hoping I won't be rubbing but I ordered a camber kit for the front just in case. I'll keep the suspense going until tomorrow when I post pics

projekz,
in the future, that will be my exact same setup with regards to rim width offset and tire width. let me know how much camber you would be running. You will have to run camber because with the 205/45/17 tire size and lowered, u'll be rubbing mad according to this forum.

Unfortunatly it's still hard to find a lightweight 16" or 17inch wheel with a +45 offset. Afew more wheels are coming out with that offset but most of what's available right now is either cheap heavy crap or expensive like Volks and Advans. Rota and some other companies are starting to make more +45 wheels to make up for the demand but their stock is small and some people question the quality (Never had a set but some friends run Rota wheels with no issues on both street and track)

Yeah there is really not a lot of selection; either the TSW Trackstar or the Rota Circut 10's come in 16" with a +45 config, they are pretty much the best low-cost option I came accross out there right now.
