Camber Kit? Do I have to have one?
I just put in Tein S-Techs on my 2010 Sport, and need to get an alignment but a couple places have said I need a camber kit, is that true?
I always thought that caster/camber kits were needed with a 2 or more inch drop.
Any help?
Specifically people with S-Techs

No you don't NEED one. The Fit has Macpherson strut front suspension, and does not gain OR lose much camber with a drop.
They are beneficial for cornering, because the Fit has an inherently bad camber curve because of suspension design, but not required. I have been running S-Techs with no camber bolts for many, many miles.
I do have the bolts sitting in my garage, i'll install them when I put my new shocks in and get an alignment.

It wouldn't hurt to throw a set of crash bolt on the front and run 1 degree on the street.
You can not add camber to the rear without fabrication. The Spec V guys with a solid rear axle put the car on a frame puller and pull on the center on the rear beam (slightly bending the axle) to increase camber. There is not much of a need to increase the camber in the rear. The car has a difficult enough time rotating as is.
