Ground Control Coiover ge8

HI forum i was wondering in anyone here had any experience with ground control coilovers. I am not going to be on a track just for looks and don't really want to pay that much for a complete coilover kit.

The GC kit works fine, with 1 exception... the stock shocks. The standard spring from GC for the Fit is a 425 because it's 5" tall, and the stock front shocks cannot handle that at all... and they will go bad fast.

Otherwise, the kit works well.

Chris is VERY experienced with suspension... He has custom built us Koni based coilovers for both GD and GE Fits.

The Ground Control setup is not a full "coil over." They are Coil over sleeves. This lets you adjust height, and nothing else.

As mentioned above, the springs that come with the GC kit will blow out the stock shocks ealry and most likely have a very harsh ride quality.

Check out Redshift Motorsports for more info on Chris's coilovers... And there are more than one option to get your Fit lower without spending a ton of $

Also, if your in the general Nor Cal area, check out the local Fit club's group on Facebook, HellaFit We just had a BIG summer meet with over 20 cars
