The two point Cusco bar doesn't fit on the automatic GE8 only the 5 speeds it does difference in handling, trying to fine one that fits the auto's.
Also make sure any bars you get, that they are tested fitted on a auto.

so the version 2 four point bar fits automatics? What about the Cusco front sway bar, does that fit on a automatic? I have a automatic Fit and bought the version 1, version 2 and front sway bar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The version 2 fits just fine on autos. As far as the sway bar, I couldn't say for sure. I've only ever seen the Spoon one installed on a manual GE.

Hi Wongawa,
I understand that you had bought the Ver 1 and Ver 2 of the Cusco Subframe/lower arm bar.
so in the end were you able to fit the version 1 on your Automatic Transmission Honda Fit?
Because based on my observation of the photos available,
I think the Cusco ver 1 will fit USDM automatic,
but it won't fit the JDM CVT automatic...
Please kindly tell us your experience.
Thanks

i looked at the mounting points and the automatic transmission is in the way of the Type 1 bar. had the Type 2 bar on order but cancelled it. in my experience, it is not really necessary and does not really lead to faster lap times. why does Spoon not offer them?
the Spoon front sway bar definitely helped to kill body roll in conjunction with the Progress rear sway bar... and i am on stock Base springs/ dampers/ tires... in fact, i am so happy with the handling, i may not need anything else other than tires. go get em at GoTuning.com while they are in stock. cheaper than Cusco, too.
for GT Spec stuff, we need to organize a group buy because we have to order at least 10, i think, for them to start up production again. however, as i said, these parts may not even be doing anything but look pretty underneath the car and add weight. GT Spec also has a tendency to make them with more of a gap than needed and this results in scraping a lot on lowered vehicles.

Hi,
for people who had installed Cusco 4pt chassis bar,
when you took out those 4 bolts, are the subframe stay together or is it goes down...
I mean, do we need to have a shop install it (like front sway bar),
or the subframe and chassis stay together so I can safely take out the 4 bolts,
install the Cusco all without any engine stand/subframe stand needed ?
Thanks

i ended up not doing this mod, but from my understanding, the subframe is held on by many bolts. this mod replaces the brace under our car and links it with 2 bolts on the subframe. you should be fine, but i would not guarantee it. lol.

I manage to get PM from several people who had installed this 4 points Cusco Subframe bar, and they say it is very easy because when you took out the 4 bolts for installing this bar, there are still couple more bolts holding the subframe and chassis together, so no sub frame lowering at all,
which mean no need for chassis lift, but I can do it my self
Second,
I notice from the post and help/information from fitfreak member named "Nickocosmic",
the Cusco 4 point subframe bar had CHANGED in shaped,
The early model looks like an "X" or crossing each other,
and if you use this older one for a 2012+ Fit Sport,
then you need to take off the current FACTORY 2 point bar that already installed by Honda,
but if you buy the Cusco latest model, which more like a double "U" shaped, you can keep the factory Honda bar and added this Cusco at the same time !!!
Here is the old design Cusco 4 point bar picture:
and here is the picture of the new design (notice the black 2 point factory bar behind the cusco):

oh that is interesting. im still not convinced chassis stiffening at this level is beneficial to new cars, though. in terms of lap times, these bars wont make a difference. let me know how you like it, i am interested to know. i never felt a difference on my WRX with Cusco chassis/ strut braces and never saw any faster lap times with it on.

I have a 2013 Fit Sport automatic transmission with Koni shocks, Eibach Springs, Progress rear sway bar and 205 tires on stock rims. It handles great now but was about to order the Cusco lower chassis stiffeners, both of them. Does anyone here have any feedback as to whether they felt a difference with these installed? Also, am I reading this correct that the 2 point bar does not fit cars with automatics? Thanks!
