5-lug 4-wheel disc conversion

Is it possible? Just grab a bunch of parts from an RSX and go at it?

I've heard that the parts from a CRZ would work perfectly for the front, the rear however would be a different story due to the torsion beam's design.

I'm compelled to because the wheels I want aren't available in 18" unless they're five lug.

Any references for the front setup?

The rear apparently gets an RSX caliper but that still leaves it at four lugs.

Really? So it is worth the hassle of adding the extra weight of the 5-lug (for a car that doesn't need it) and going through the hassle of the swap (if you can find a setup that works) just to run a particular set of wheels?

let the kids have their fun. there's no sense in trying to reason with some members of this site.

fivelug go for it

I brought this subject up a few years ago. after the extreme dimensions fit came out i asked hasport if they had a parts list for the fivelug swap they did on that fit. bryan said they used TL parts and fabbed up a plate for the back that allowed them to swap the back out. Im sure one of the other hondas with a beam in the back might work. Its really hit or miss on this one if you get it done let me know cuz im still very interested in doing this. Im working on my kswap right now so i dont have time to look into it. good luck and keep us updated.

Yup and as you can see its from an AWD, just in case you didn't notice the rear hub has the spindle nut. Extreme dimensions has a fit with a five lug done by hasport few years ago, if I remember correctly they used Acura TL part to mock it up to the fit suspension. Also they said the rear required special fab piece to adapt the rear TL hub to the torsion beam on the fit. But I could be wrong.
