if you ask me.....I say no.....
b/c right now my car is pretty stock!!!
stock suspension, stock wheels, stock tires, everything stock
hehe =) except for my HID hehe =)
by adding only the 2 lower bars to a stock setup, I think it does nothing!!!
at least that what I feel!!!
but I can tell you this once i lowered my car then i will for sure feel something!!
the reason y I said that is because my Toyota Vitz (well, HB Echo in Canada)
I lowered first (drive for couple of months) then installed 2 lower bars and strut bar, I can tell you there is a major different when cornering after those bars were installed!!!
don't think the bars are useless...they are not!!! They do stiffen your chassis somewhat!!
but on my GE8 I did it in a way that I won't tell the different with or without the bars on the car!! Because I did it in a ... so call wrong order!!! hehe =)
but I know I will lower my car sooner or later and I know I need those bars thats y i got them first!! (plus is a cheaper mod then buying coilover) hehe =)
I like handling over performance!!! I don't care if my car only have 110hp as long as my car can turn then I can be faster then a high hp car!!!
plus we don't have that many Highways here in Vancouver, mainly City street!!
what am I going to do with a car with more than 200+ hp???
once you step on the gas then you are at the next light already!!! so just a waste of gas!!! hahahaha =)
sorry for you people out there looking for more hp!!!
hehehe =)
for me handling first then hp
happy driving!!!

i did the rear swaybar and the strut tower bar and i felt a difference i also did a smaller tire that the stock one 205/50/15 i believe, combination helped alot! less roll in the back end, then springs and im happy for the time being, need to be lower though!

I think these should be effective when combined with extreme driving, or more suspension mods, but personally, I want to try out something for the rear, because since installing the Depo tails, they creak a little bit under chassis flex. If that goes away, I know I've done something, at least.
