I think the most drop you will get out of springs is 1.5, maybe 1.75 inches.. Tein or RSR

Thanks me too! I was worried about the "loudness" of them, but they turned out pretty good.

This may be a dumb question, but I'm trying to figure out what real rubbing sounds like. Is it a squeak or a thhhhuk?

I get little squeaks on small bumps (maybe just the suspension?) and only get the big thhhuk on tight turns or huge bumps. Trying to figure out if I need to roll my fenders/mod the fender liners. Obviously no expert here

Mine (the one time I rubbed, lol) sounded like a plastic vrippppp noise. Almost like a plastic across concrete dragging type noise. Like if youve ever heard someone scrape their bumper on a concrete barrier. Like that but faster and a little lighter.

Yeah, I only get that when I'm doing crazy stuff. I usually drive like a grandma. So you think no rolling/liner modification needed?

They do poke a few mm outside of the fender (+40 offset):

@lowkeymods: you hearing them up front? if so... that might be the +40 talking to you...

I get the big scrape up front on really hard turns and I know that's the +40. I'm trying to figure out if the slight squeaking which seems to come from front and back is rubbing or the suspension...that is much more common.

Sorry don't want to clutter this thread w/ personal stuff but...

springs pinching what would cause that the new wheels or bad install?

I knew I would rub w/ Swifts and this setup I just planned to roll the fenders and be done w/ it. However, the performance shop I use said I probably wouldn't need to unless it bothered me or started to eat up my tire on those rare occasions.

I sure would like to figure out what that squeaking noise is though...maybe w/ stiffer tires I get more stress on the springs?

we have the same tire spec. when you do your fenders... re-seat the rear springs while you're at it.
