i don't see a part number on it, but i'm almost positive that this is the number...
78501-SVA-A02ZA

the part number for the fit's is 78501-TF0-J71ZC

what are you looking to do with it?

One of our work friends does VERY high end upholstery. So, I'm going to wrap my wheel in Alcantara and have a matching shift boot made.

If I'm not mistaken the GE steering wheel fits (and vice versa) with some model Civic's, also GD's, and probably others too.

I'll probably be selling mine once I install this in a few months.

Probably available in the EU too, they get all kinds of nice goodies... It was on ebay a while ago, one of the fitfreaks got it ---> https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...tml#post534145
From his review the steering wheel is thicker over all, and those bumps are quite ergonomical as well. It's also got the red stitching to match my interior theme with the Clazzios, shift knob/boot, parking brake, armrest. It works with both Navi & non-Navi models. If you don't have the Navi buttons you can retain the red trim (on the Honda model), or the cf trim on the J's. So when I get mine I'm going to have to sell the trim too since I cant use it with the Navi buttons.

I'm going to have to order it from japanparts.com ---> JDM Japanese Auto Parts specialists | japanparts.com
Been waiting for 3 yrs to get that, but now I'm just waiting cause there's a few other JDM goodies I need so I'm going to order them all at once to save a little on shipping, especially since the steering wheel itself is $550+.

Then there's also the J's Racing... where's vinny?

That's the carbon fiber w/ leather & red stitching.. It's on sale now ---> JDM Japanese Auto Parts specialists | japanparts.com
J's got 3 different styles one of the other ones looks like the JDM Honda one I posted earlier.

The J's is so tight. I just don't want to drop that much $$ on a steering wheel. Now the Red clusters.... Thats a different story lol

Yup its tight!!! but the $$$ depresses me too
Doesn't feel that bad though since I'm planning on keeping the car forever.

I'm going to have to sell the red trim piece w/ the stock steering wheel since it won't fit on my Navi.

Hi there everyone. I'm still clueless here ?_? . can the steering wheel of the Honda Fit GE be fitted to the older Honda fit GD1? I have the old Honda fit GD 1, and i wanted to replace them with the steering wheels from the new Honda Fit GE. But I don't have any idea if it is possible. And i'm new here in Japan, can you also suggest some japanese sites where i can buy the steering wheel of Honda Fit Ge, if it is possible to replace them to my car. Thank you very much! Have a great day you guys!

Ninja Super Mod Edit:

Here is what we know for certain as of 1/15/09

We know for a fact the following WILL transfer to the GD3 model:
  • GE8 steering wheel with cruise (but not audio controls)
  • GE8 Under-dash Mood Lighting (with switch modification)
  • GE8 Auto Trany Shift Knob (no mods needed)

What we know for a fact will NOT transfer to the GD3 model:
  • GE8 Front seats
  • GE8 Rear seat headrests
  • GE8 Remote Starter
  • OEM GE8 Navi

from this thread https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/1st-...d3-thread.html

The GE8 steering wheel will fit on to the GD3.
