How much is one of those? Is there a difference between the other brands?

$150 for the unit, $45 for the vehicle specific harness

I don't have experience with any other brands but this one really works which I can attest after seeing the difference in my friends IQ

It's been awhile since I updated this thread, been busy the last few weeks with some changes which I can finally share

Starting off with my APEXi Smart Accel Throttle Controller install...

The controller has 7 Setting Modes: (3 ECO Modes, 2 Boost Modes, Lo-Throttle Mode, and Hi-Throttle Mode).

I have spent significant time with the Eco modes and I now drive around with the most extreme Eco modes (for stop and go traffic) and the middle Eco modes for normal driving. Freeway merging or passing I drive around in the High-boost mode and it completely opens up the power of the car and removes any lag in throttle.

Here is a photo of what you get with the kit (Control Unit, toggle switch, directions, and Throttle linkage)

I removed the Fuse panel to determine what kind of installation I could work with and realized I had a good amount of space to mount the box

First thing I did was uninstall the OEM throttle and placed the APEXi cable between the two connections

As you can see there was quite a bit of extra wiring that I tucked behind the carpet to hide

I was then able to place the control box on an empty section of the panel (affixed with some double-sided tape)

I then focused my attention on how I was going to mount the controller switch, that is when I realized the fuse cover has a hole at the bottom which the cabling could run through

Then I remounted the Fuse cover and checked all my clearances

Success!

Matches the interior well

Final setup, works really well and is pretty subtle!

I was able to pickup a Mugen exhaust from a local member in preparation for running the Mugen aero

I will end up selling the Tanabe since I don't want to have to modify the Mugen rear to fit the exhaust

Waiz Drop

Waiz, car is perfect. Clean dressed with class. Please what size drop did you use. I was considering an inch front & inc 1/2 rear.

Thanks for the compliments, here is the description of my Tanabe DF210 Springs:

The DF210 coil spring offers a large drop, while retaining superb ride quality characteristics. The spring rate is raised 10-15% to compensate for the shortened amount of suspension travel, without over stiffening the spring rate and affecting ride quality and shock lifespan.

The DF210 is unique in that it provides an excellent range of benefits, from it's extremely low stance, to performance and comfort. Overall, the DF210 is extremely well balanced for those looking to lower their car, increase handling potential, and comfort.

For those who want the lowest drop.

Lowers the car:
Front: 1.3 inches
Rear: 1.8 inches

You need to make sure you have a compatible front bumper, the UK spec bumper and grilles are different

The part number is the following:

71120-XTK

For me it's more about how I save more than how much money I make. Little things like bringing my lunch to work and limiting how often I eat out can go a long way.

I purposely buy lightly used cars rather than new cars so I could instead use the difference to mod the car too which really helps

Thanks dude.

Been researching while waiting for replies and our front bumper is slightly different so not sure this will fit without significant modifications
