Project Mad Panda - My 2010 Taffeta White GE8 Build
#264
I was doing some research and came across the Wilwood DPHA BBK, this will be my next mod. It utilizes the OEM mounting points, rotors, ABS lines, and brake lines. I will go with this version:
Wilwood High Performance Disc Brakes - 2010 Honda Fit - Front Brake Kit No.: 140-12996-DR
I just need to make sure they clear my wheels but I'm sure they do since my wheels have plenty of room
I was able to address my clear coat peeling issue after doing some research. I was able to sand off the top coat of the clear with 2000 grit paper and followed it up with metal polish. The caps look brand new!

Luckily I have a good friend at the dealer, he got me them for less than $500 for the pair.

Car looks beautiful. I have a 2013 TW myself.
Have you ever thought about flipping your front license plate bracket upside down? That way it makes your font bumper cleaner and then it will just sit in the gap there.

Behind the plate the bumper is damaged from the previous owner so I can't flip it. Honestly I like it better where it is anyway.

I made a thread in order to help sell the last rotor they had available and it sold an hour after I made the thread, gotta be quick son!
Hey Jan, the $700+ version is the Dynalite with the larger rotors. The DPHA version uses the OEM size rotors so you can use your OEM rotors or upgrade to Wilwoods drilled/slotted rotors. I chose to buy the Wilwood calipers kit only and use my own rotors. You should expect to pay around $500 for these calipers
Domo! this should add some red which you suggested prior

I will have my Centric rotors and Hawk for sale once I get these installed. Will get you a good deal on them if you want
Less than a year on the rotors and maybe 7,000 total miles driven on them
They also offer them in black but I sprang for the red!

Only problem is whether the calipers will fit my wheels but I am pretty sure they will. If not I can add a small spacer.
They should get installed next week
