Dude, we've got similar taste. I almost said something in a different thread, but I guess that's the best compliment I can give someone. Can't wait to see the alcantra. Gloss black anywhere in the Fit interior will look good. The piano black honda panel/trim kits from japan are one the best looking upgrades I've seen for the interior. The shift extender is a good idea too, which I think you said you got in another thread. I may follow suit, but please understand, I'm not copying.

Are your headlights tinted? Specs in that? I like it.

I don't mind copying any ideas. Once I post them, they're free to the public my friend.

The headlights aren't tinted. The retrofit just makes them look dark.

I also sold the tow hook. Didn't "flow" with the car as well as anticipated.

Picked up a 50mm billet shift extender for the Mugen short shifter + knob to keep it the same height as stock.

I was going to do the tow hook but was looking for something that laid flat against the front bumper.

Next up is a pair of 10mm spacers for the rear, powdercoated black, and then adding ARP rear studs--don't need them on the front. I'll be moving the current 5mm rear spacers to the front. Also going to order the Cusco 4pt under brace and have both it and the Progress RSB powdered red. I don't need forty colors going on underneath.

I'll wait for your review on these. I still can't ascertain whether or not it makes a noticeable improvement. On Minkara, they all seem highly rated, but from what I can translate, some people can't tell a difference. Same goes with the folks on here. The upper and lower strut bar are a lot more popular in Japan too, from what I can tell. Not many cars in comparison with the rear upper strut, or c pillar mount.

It may take a month to both get it and get it powdercoated, but I'll post up a review for sure.

Building my shifter now:

- Mugen Quick Shift
- 50mm Aluminum Extender (horribly overpriced piece of metal!)
- H-Fit Short Shift Adapter
- H-Fit Rigid Mounts
- Delrin Shift Knob
- JPM Coachworks Alcantara shift boot w/ red stitch

That's a killer set up... don't think anyone's done it to a GE8 yet. Nice... real nice!
If you can take pics of the process, and the change in throws.

Those extenteders are truly overpriced... another reason I need a lathe.

Cool shot. Normally those shot are blinding as hell with extreme glare. Must be nice having retrofitted headlights.

Just think, if you had photos to go with ALL of those above posts, we'd all be having a grand ol' time viewing them right now!
