For sure! Just stay posted and I'll definitely let you know what's up. I'm putting them on after my final exams so next Monday most likely haha.

She'll most likely sit a bit higher than that-- I'm sure I have to relocate the front bumper tabs and I'm pretty sure I'll have rubber to fender issues when turning, if I could even turn at that height. But it sure looks mighty fine

I know right?!
Looks to be at least 2" of ground clearance at the front which I know is possible to get down the driveway with no problem. My only obstacle is 215/45 at +38 lol but we'll see.

Thumbs up Big Day!

So today I installed my coilovers! But before that..

Somebody backed into me at a parking lot. Long story short, he didn't look over his left shoulder where I was posted for the longest time, didn't hear me MEEP MEEP or the mother yelling from the passenger seat. I couldn't back up either, there was a lady in an SUV right behind me, go figure. Thankfully, no dents-- just gashes. And fortunately, he said he'd cover the repair/paintjob so I guess new paintjob for the bumper ey?

Onto the coilovers! Sorry ahead of time-- I didn't bring my camera with me and besides, my hands were grimy haha. Enjoy the Android and iPhone pics that I tried to enhance with my Lightroom.

Perfect height for my beefy tires right now haha. Somebody got 4 spare 195/45 or 40 tires they can donate? Anyways, onto the details. Buddy Clubs rock! Got the ride to feel a bit better than stock even; I'm planning on goin' lower in the back maybe another half an inch because there's no issues there. Can't put any fingers in the front, and maybe one in the back.

Issues are with the bumper tabs. Being 215/45 +38, bumper tabs kissed the tire a billion times on the way home goin' 25mph lol.. my mistake but too tired to raise it up. Going to raise it up tomorrow morning and relocate my bumper tabs and probably mod my fender liners so that the engine doesn't get dirty.
Definitely have to raise the damper(past 5 maybe, I dunno for sure) if you want to go past 2.5" or you'll be in a little pickle like myself. Then again it could just be me and my meaty tires with somewhat lower offset than usual.

There is also a slight constant knocking when turning fully and from some research I think it might be the camber bolts and the slotted holes. Will try torquing those down more and see what needs to be changed from there.

Overall, satisfied to the fullest-- the stance made me smile again after my morning incident getting backed into

That knocking could just be the springs popping from turning. I get it too. Its all about preload and all that crap. Try adjusting that. Btw. Looks good. And how'd u get your rivets purple? Lol.

Oh fasho, so should I tighten it/shorten the length a smidge? I tried makin' the pre-load spot on but not much of an idea from end to which end(there's that washer in between the perches and spring).

And thanks! I'm diggin' the look so much more than the tanabe's because of the whole "no fender gap" deal lol. And as for the rivets, I rattle canned them purple to match the lugs but it didn't match so I rattle canned the lugs too. The rivets can come off on their own unlike legit multi-piece rims

Yep. Try adjusting the preload. Make sure the lock rings for the springs are tight. Itll make a lot of noise on bumps too. No wheel gap is an awesome feeling. Lol.

Alright I see, I see; I'll try it out in the morning. So hopefully the noise leaves when I mess with the preload and the locking rings. Yea, it really is-- Felt bomb rollin' down side street at 25mph knowin' how the whip looked lol.. wanted to ride with the windows down but the bumper tab to tire contact was ridiculously loud

Update!
Cut the bumper tabs and used a ziptie on each side after drilling a hole higher up in the fender. Modified the fenderliners a bit more. Next week, going to cut out the portion that protects the engine bay and probably 3M it on the inside of the engine bay somehow. 7 clicks from soft in the rear and at 9 clicks from soft on the front-- no more rubbin whatsoever!

Height at the front was raised a little from yesterday but still lower than when I was on Tanabe's.

The driver's side is quiet as a whistle and so are the rears. Only issue is the passenger side spring still clickin' when I fully turn the wheel even after tweakin' with the preload. Took it for a quick test run for lunch with the Pops and fortunately, the clicking is slowly disappearing. It comes back from time to time but not as crazy as earlier this morning-- that's a good sign I'll give it a week for the c/o's to settle in and see what happens next.

I can't bruh.. unless I bump up the damper bad; just noticed the tires are rubbin on the body now closest to the driver's seat in the fender well, definitely not the fenderliner. Gotta wait till I need new tires or if I get lucky. These deng Azenis have massive thick thread doh -_-"

Deng that's a good deal! I was actually thinkin' if anyone here had an SSM bumper that they had lying around too. Would be tight if someone had a 2012 bumper for me LOL Would definitely save me money-- I don't really wanna make the dude pay too much. But we'll see
