Just thought you should know that I look at this thread regularly in order to motivate myself to go for the retrofit again. This time BlueBoogers is going to do it for me w/ black trim. Also, I'm thinking Axis tails, but it will have to be at the very end of the build. Can't justify my 4th set of tails otherwise

Very cool, I'm glad I can be of help to someone. I'm glad you're sticking with it, you'll really enjoy it in the end. The Axis tails were my 3rd set, still need to get rid of my Depos, they don't even come close to these.

Couple of old pics of the front end to keep your motivation up:

Ignore the leaves lol

Nice looking setup, did uou use any rings for the Gatling gun like the ccfl?

I cant decide if I should leave my reflector in or out on my new retrofit. Your headlight looks nice with it left in.

Thanks, glad I went with these instead of another shroud from TRS, they are just the right amount of aggressiveness.

I had ccfl halos but unfortunately one of them burned out, so I unplugged them. I wish I would have gotten LED halos, and if I ever reopen my headlights, I'll install new ones.

I left my reflector in for safety reasons, if it helps someone avoid hitting my car in the middle of the night, then all the better. I kind of like the look of it too, it's got a stylish shape and flows well.

That photoshoot.

Was bored last weekend, so we went looking for locations, we found a few good ones. I'm kind of tired of my wheels, need to step my game up lol. Got a new lighting setup for next time, going to try my hand at off camera flash and using umbrellas for these night shots, it should help. Going down to Houston this weekend to try and cover Import Reactor.

Covered an event a couple of weeks ago, check it out: Cobb Tuning Grand Reopening 3-24-12 - a set on Flickr

^Thanks. Yeah for sure, I'm always down for a shoot.

Here are a few from a shoot down in Houston

Taken at Honda Fetish 1st Annual Meet

My friend and I at Import Faceoff in Ennis, TX. I wish I were that low lol. It was so hot, but a lot of fun.

I tried a bit of strobe lighting, it was too windy for an umbrella so I directly flashed and composited this image using 1 flash. Could be better, but I'm still learning all the tricks. Might try some light painting next.

Are you getting a set? They are awesome quality, no regrets here.

I got it from Keenan parts, they had the best price and also the best shipping price (under $20 via FedEx wtf!), although shop around for an even better price if you can, sometimes the Honda dealerships sell on eBay.

Got a couple of small new pieces to dress up the engine bay...because I gotta be mad JDM tyte yo

Installed

I'm trying to decide what I should do next. I was thinking of maybe getting the T1R B-pipe but not sure if I can really stand the extra noise. Otherwise I might get the Mugen grill to match in the front.
