Somewhere there is a little Asian man assembling those visors and cackling maniacally to himself. I timed myself when I started the blue headliner and it took me less than 15 minutes to completely remove the interior of the Fit. Took me ALMOST AN HOUR to get the stupid driver-side visor out.

I'll work on adding the DIY's for both the visors and the headliner. Stay tuned!

Thanks

When she gets home tonight I'll take some more pics. As for the tails I think they're depo l.e.d smoked lights, she got them off of e-bay.
Also did you click on the pic it takes you to my photobucket account and you can click on it again to make it bigger.

we use 3yrs and i believe no shorter then 54 wide i forget, if you can fine 61 you are good to go. Also don't use the 3m stuff we use it but didn't work to well, so we used some headliner spray glue and pulled the oem stuff off too. any other question just ask.

Sorry for the lack of updates...I've been down and out for almost 2 freaking months and now I'm back to work on my Jazz.

ATLfit10 - it takes 2 1/2 yards to cover the headliner front to back so I would plan on buying 3 yards minimum. The headliner is 47" wide so you don't want any fabric less than 51" wide. Also, be prepared to spend more money on the spray adhesive than anything else. Don't bother with 3M spray adhesive - doesn't stand up to the heat. The first time I used 3M and some other random can - they did ok but didn't last long. This second time around I used Aleene's spray adhesive and it seems to be holding up fairly well.

Hubby and I just returned from Formula D in West Palm Beach and I can't wait to get my hands dirty! Just got a Mugen short shifter from EJ1 for my Bday and had it installed in about 20 minutes - what a difference!

Working on the headliner tutorial now. Hopefully I'll have that posted soon. I'm going to put it in PDF format for anyone that wants to save it or print it.

I had to re-cover my visors since I changed from purple plaid to blue and those are becoming a royal pain in my ass. Does anyone know of a special tool that I might be missing out on to get those damned things in or out? It took me almost an hour to get them out, now I can't get them back in!

Well, that's all for now. Stay tuned!

Very nice work to the car people. Glad you decided to lower it. Warrenty is overrated. Great work with the headliner and visors.

Im in for wanting a DIY. + rep will be given when it is up.
