you are linking to the wrong thing. what you put are actually links to webpages (imageshack automatically makes webpages for image files).

you want the "embed" & then "forum" or "alt forum" links.

Thanks Goobers!

One more question...how did you get the picture by your profile tag?

That's my avatar. Go to User CP and then "Edit Avatar". there you can upload or link to a picture. of course, it has restrictions on size.

Looks good so far, only thing I "personally" do not like is the pin stripping. I vowed when I bought my fit that if I got one with it, to remove it immediately just doesn't flow right with the cars looks IMO.

Fingernail and then peel it off. Maybe a bit of heat from hairdryer. Any residue can be removed with GooGone/WD40 etc.

Worse case if you don't know how and I hesitate to tell you because you CAN and WILL screw up your paint if not done right, seek a professional detailer.

LOL! I was thinking of letting the poor guy know ahead of time that someone (or many) were going to razz him about the pinstriping... but as I scrolled down I realized you guys have beaten me to it.

Personally, I don't think it looks bad on his ride... it almost accentuates the lines on his particular color. I certainly don't think it's a certified, Honda Fit mortal sin that he has pinstriping. H3ll, BMWs and other assorted nice rides have pinstriping.

I wouldn't want it on my Blue Sensi... but really, I think it looks kinda' sharp on his ride... just my .02 though.

Hey, OP (lowkeymods), if you like the pinstriping, then keep it, bro. After all, it's your ride, and you have to live with it. I don't think you have to worry about driving down the road and hundreds of Fit modders lining the streets to reprimand you and tell you your GE "sucks eggs"for having pinstripes!

Congrats on the Fit purchase... looks nice.

I kinda like the pinstripe, but to each their own. Why do you want to remove the RS? Just curious.

I think the RS looks tacky and doesn't match the subtle theme of the car. Also it is a different shade of red than the jdm "h" badge

Removed the mugen side badges, RS badge, and pinstripe...loving it.

If anyone is considering doing the same I would strongly recomend the 3m stripe removal wheel.

OMG are you ever close to the curb in that one pic, eeek! I'd re-center the RS badge, it should be in the middle IMO and honestly, those RS badges are pretty damn cool, especially with the JDM red H too, maybe get the chrome GD Fit badge with the red dot to tie everything in back there, just sayin'.

Rep given already!

Looking nice. Great progress. Check in the Mid Atlantic section of this forum. Go to the VA MEET thread. We are having a meet and photo shoot in Fredricksburg on September 10. Bring some Maryland fits with you......
