Another SSM..

Been lurking since I bought the car, finally signed up to get in on a group buy. Great forum with lots of info and great owners. Glad to be a part.

Thanks. And I like them. Drop is pretty dramatic, which I like. They are noticeably stiffer and it feels much tighter going around corners at any speed. The ride is a little harder but overall I like them.

Did a home depot lip on Thursday.
Bought tape, but only ended up using it where the bumper ends by the wheel, and we couldnt use screws. Came out pretty good I thought..

This first photo may look like the screws were random and kinda haggard, but it was strategic placement...promise

i think you flipped the lip around from the intial hd lip diy instructions, but if you like it that is all that matters! nice job, it was probably easier with the bumper off

Are you talking about Sandblasted's? (https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ght=home+depot)

The type of garage door seal we had was a little different. Only had the "two" sides compared to "three" his had. You are right though, we attached the longer side and left the shorter side as the lip, for ease of securing. But, I have more than plenty left over to try it the other way if I ever decide its too short.

And yes, having the bumper off made it 10x easier.
