anyone have any pictures of GE8's with black roofs? sorta like how those prius's are? I have a white fit and was kinda thinking about doing it. I kinda wanted to see it first tho, and where to actually paint it to make it look good.

I, myself, want to do Di Noc vinyl on my roof.

 

where can you get a peice of vinyl that large? and how can it be applied perfectly? or do you just get a peice thats overly large and and then cut around it to match the car? I am seriously thinking about getting it done that way because that way it could be taken off if it when i don't like it anymore

Or maybe theres a type of shop that can do this for me?

His car looked really good in person and if my fit was white this is the 1st thing I would do to it.

 

Check out those vinyl places that do entire car in advertising wrap. They can usually do that.

There are some vendors that sell the vinyl...atticusfit, DecalsDude, DonNguyen, Mpnuaran (sp?)

 

Paint FTW. The problem with vinyl wrapping the roof, at least my understanding, is that you have to remove all the hatch plastic trim to completely remove the antenna (no gaps!!) thenreverse the process. Also, vinyl will last around seven years then will show fading, etc. Lastly, people think vinyl wrap is reversible but from what I've seen it fux your paint when removed!

I think this is just another ricer trend...same for the Di-noc CF wrap...
