@JDMxGE8
Progress springs dropped it probably about 1.5" after settling. But, I switched to 15" wheels thereby minimizing the decrease in wheel gap. It's about a finger less than stock gap. I had alot of internal struggle (maximum weight savings vs. the look of 16" wheels). In the end, the additional 13 lbs of unsprung weight wasn't worth the "look" of 16" wheels.
Also, this includes 150 lbs of weight removed from the car, some of it unsprung weight, but mostly from the middle and rear. This also decreases the amount of "drop."
Overall, I'm happy with the drop and wheel gap...IMHO, it looks odd when cars are slammed and the wheel gap is no longer symmetric all the way around. (i.e. most of the wheel gap is lost at the top of the arc and still have huge gap at the sides).
BTW, you've commented on this before...basically said you weren't a fan of 15" wheels.

Thanks man...
Unfortunately, there's really not a whole lot of options available for the GE crowd I've been eyeballing those spoon mirrors for awhile now though...but 800 bucks...WTF?!?

Regarding the black door handles...that just reminds me of everything I hated about my 97 DX Accord and my 2001 LX Civic. I do, however, like the black mirrors especially since they come off the (tinted) windows rather than rising from the doors.

i always liked the black mirrors since the colored ones don't flow with the body lines, hence why i covered mine in carbon vinyl see in my sig pic how the crx mirrors stick out like a sore thumb!

I got a crazy idea for a poor man's side-mirror mod...this may be hard to explain but here goes:
Expect a prototype soon...I just have to find an online dealer that stocks new GE parts.

I'm rolling Enkei RPF1 15x7 with Toyo proxes 4 195/50/15. I discussed this combo extensively on "Biggest Loser...Fit Edition" and spelled out to the ounce how much this combo weighs. If weight loss is your goal, there is only one other tire on the market that weighs less than the Proxes 4 and that is the General Exclaim UHP. It was on back order all across the country when I made my buying decision.
Again, I'm really happy with the combo of Progress springs and 15" wheels...be aware that your rear may sit 0.5" lower with the back seats in.

I would get the side mirror covers for 2010 Honda Insight so you will get side mirrors with integated turn signal.

Looking good skil or is it makita? Ever think about time attacking the wheels with the vinyl pinstripes sold for bikes? Did that to my black RPF1s with red stripes on the Snisen and it looked really good as compared to just plain black, though that was on a backdrop of Silverstone. Still with Milano Red it may look pretty good, not that the car needs more red. hahaha
Everyday I pass by this used wheel shop and it looks like there are some 15" RPF1 in white. I need to stop by and take a real gander at them instead of the daily gaze from afar.

Mud flaps FTMFW!!!
555Sexdrive,
I'm too lazy to put stickers on em...it's hard enough just to keep em clean. I'm so glad I got black. I don't know how you keep yours polished with all those spokes?!?
White on white would be sick...like the old CTR and ITR from the 90's. Do it now!
