i like the red and black theme.

imo i think 15s look too small on GE...makes the tires look huge and not proportional with the wheels..but good choice on wheel design.

I would get a Sport Spoiler and fogs.

@DewtheDew, I didn't realize center caps wouldn't fit on the 15s? SRSLY?

@Fitcious,
Thanks man...15" wheels = function > form. I'll keep rocking these until someone comes out with a tuning solution (or even a stage 1 cam).

@Chrisng
15" wheels are polarizing...love em or hate em.

I'm sure this is the minority opinion, but I like the clean look of the "rear bubble" with no spoiler breaking up the curves. Of all the spoilers available for the GE, I think the USDM "sport" spoiler is blah-zam...in other words, neither ugly or sexy.

Regarding the fogs, they're an "unnecessary accessory" for me. Personally, I've never been driving around and thought, "man if I only had fogs I'd be able to see the road!" Even if they were free I wouldn't put em on.

Again, I like the clean look of the base Fit's lower air dam...fog lights would make it look "too busy." <-- that's my complaint with the Sport's front end as well.

This is more the look I'm going for...

I bought some spray adhesive remover and removed the "Fit" badge, dealer sticker, as well as the littler rear wiper and motor. I also put matching tinted license plate covers on the front and rear.

I want to get a color matched rear garnish without the wiper hole. I sent a message to Rogue, but waiting to hear back.

Nice dude, what are you using for the rear wiper plug right now? How hard was it to do? DIY? Looks better than the GD3s.

Thanks mang!

I searched my local hardware store and found some rubber plugs of the appropriate size. I'll take some closer pics later.

DIY? Hmmm, this was pretty straight forward. The plastic cover inside the hatch just pops off without tools. There is a single screw under the plastic cover on the wiper, once that is removed just pull the wiper off and remove the motor from the backside.

This is good for loss of 5 lbs.

Any idea how big the plug is? I have a 1" nylon plug that I got at lowes sitting around that I used for my GTI.

Lovin' it! I've had a soft spot for black wheels on cars for decades, even to the point of removing hubcaps on black steelies to achieve it. It looks meaner, more aggressive. I think a lot of that came from seeing spy photos of upcoming performance cars that always included running blacked out wheels as part of their camouflaging - it backfired with me, because I'm sure they thought the car would get less notice because them... somewhere in my brain I began to equate it with excitement. Purely psychological weirdness, I know...

It also makes the car look more European than Japanese or American,for some reason. I get a heavy amateur rallycar vibe as well - the ride height, smallish wheels/taller sidewalls, and of course those awesome mudflaps contribute greatly.

Anyways, I don't even normally like red cars at all, but I love this one! It makes me want to trade my Sport front bumper for a Base & sell my flared rockers & rear spoiler. (and of course, black wheels are comin' no matter what - just can't decide if I can swing the extra cash for Enkei's)

Thanks for all the positive comments. I get no love locally...LOL.

Yeah, I spoke with rogue...but then I realized I can just dremmel off that nipple myself --> sand smooth --> prime --> paint and voilą! Carbon fiber wouldn't go with my theme...plus nothing else on the car is in CF.

I've always thought the Fit looks better with front air dam black out. I was thinking using vinyl. This is my photoshop of one long time ago, even go the same rims you're running.

Hey...blackndecker...We have a similar theme going on the outside...except you are red/black and I'm white/black

I'm getting ideas from you and this thread, haha.

But I won't be near as "light" as your fit...ever.
