I just want to know how you came up with those numbers? What did you start out with, and what did you change? Those are pretty high offset calculations imo.

well i honestly got my inspiration from mk donz, here on the forum (i think thats how you spell it) he was running some pretty wide wheels as well and i loved how it looked. It just happened my boy was selling some wheels with similar specs so i thought, what the heck?!?! ill give it a try! bought the wheels not knowing if they would fit, redrilled them and tried them on. loved the fitment and kept them.

now your asking, what if they didnt fit? well my initial plans were CCW Classics so if the BBS's didnt fit then i was just going to sell them and go back to plan A. Its all about trial and error bro

maybe its the way the shadow around the wheel blends in with the tire, you dont really get the actual size of the wheel. but yea, i know what you mean. I wouldnt go any bigger then 17's though, im trying to stay as slammed as possible

Yeah I understand fitment, trial and error is the only way to get shit to sit right. My question was how do you know that the wheel is that specific offset you stated? I just want to check the math that was used to calculate the sizes, as a lot of people who see your car are going to try and run with the specs that you listed, but I don't think they accurate.

For example, anytime you add 1" of outer lip, you effectively add +25 in offset. Those look like 2" inch lips, possibly 2.5", which would mean the wheels would have been 17x9 +50, or 17x9 + 63 to start - or something similar. If you can find out what the standard sizes/offsets were, how big the standard lips were, and how big the new lips are, I can do all the math for you.

I'm not hating or anything. You're GE is the my favorite stateside. I just want to clear everything up as far as sizing goes for the Flush/Poke guys out there who are trying to gauge fitment.
