I have 215/35/18... The thing about the Fit is the height of the car, I believe you need to make the wheels look proportional to the car. You can notice with the people that are rocking 15" wheels on the GE they don't look right. 16" wheels barely do the job as is.

As for the Volks, they are light wheels so the performance is still there for what it has. I drive the Fit like I stole it all day everyday, so basically it's pedal to the floor with no rubbing around corners. I will be taking it to autocross at the end of the month so we will see.

I think the grey spokes set off the orange perfectly.

BTW - Konig has a new-ish wheel in Matt Grey w/Orange that would look good, too - of course they wouldn't be Volks, and they only come in 40mm offset. 17" is as big as they go:

Not only height, but I think Honda made size of the GE's fenders/wheel wells waaayyy too large. Or maybe a better description would be "out of proportion"... asymmetrically speaking. Man, you'd have to slap on 20-21" wheels to have it lowered enough and still have perfect proportion (no matter how much or how little gap) around the tire.

I like the GE lowered, but I don't like that varying distance of the wheel well/fenders in relation to the tires. If the tire is only an inch from the top of the fender, then it is easily 2 inches from the front and almost three from the rear of the fender (behind the wheel) in most cases... depending on how much it is lowered, that is, and whether we're talking front or back wheels.

The GDs seem to have better equal proportion between fender and tire, all the way around... that is if the drop isn't so low you can't even see the top of the tire.

Anyway, the above probably means nearly nothing to anyone except me... so, only my opinion.
