jeff_1986's Progress Thread - Ready for the summer
Hey everyone,
Gonna make this my official "progress/update" thread. Got my Fit LX M/T (Canadian model set between the base and the Sport) back in July of '09 and lovin it ever since. Got a few goodies for my Fit lately such as sport side skirts, JDP front and rear lip, Tanabe DF210 + Medalion Touring exhaust, Mugen front grille, 17x8 OZ wheels paired with Continental ExtremeContact DW 205/45/17 tires, a few interior pieces including some carbon fibre trim, and a Kenwood DDX370

Looks great! Ready for the summer and let the fun begin. I am going to see about new tires and rims this weekend. I was going to order over the internet but I've had such bad luck with doing that I decided to order from local company so they can deal with any problems.

I actually got them off ebay for $106.00 from a legit seller. Got them back in July of 2009 and I can't seem find them on ebay anymore.
but you can pick up a front and rear combo from jdmland.com for $93.97... there may be cheaper places out there that I'm unaware of.

Up here in Canada, Honda puts those "hybrid" rims on the Fit LX model lol.. I'm not a fan of them myself, and plan on getting a new set of wheels/tires this summer along with a drop.

Love the pedals haha. They're extra grippy and look great too. Yea, I had to drill the gas pedal and use the rivet tool in order to install it. The clutch a brake pedals are held on with 2 bolts and double sided tape.

Got it from VG Shark Fin Antenna - Home
It comes painted and everyting you need to install. Radio reception is just as good, if not better

Received a few more accessories from Bernardi yesterday:
OEM Door Sill Pieces:
Interior Trim Pieces (cf styling):
Leather Steering Wheel Cover:
And upgraded to the Accord Horn.. Here's the old one:
Very pleased with the things I bought, adds to the interior quite well. Had to stitch together the steering wheel cover myself which took the longest lol.. never stitched before. At least it came with the thread

Thanks. I actually took all the stitching out today an re-did the entire wheel. Wasn't happy with the size of the gap when I stitched it originally so now it looks a lot better as you can see (no gap lol). Apparently I stitched it the wrong way and that's why there was a gap... what can I say, I'm a stitching noob hahaha.

Whole wheel:
How it looked previously as a comparison (notice the stitch difference on the bottom half):
That's all the pics I have of the leather wheel cover.
