Eibach Pro Kit & a couple questions

Post Updated at bottom of this page!!! 11/16

i'm coming up on my 2nd week anniversary this thursday with my fit, so to celebrate i got eibach's pro kit.

I researched for hours, because i didn't want to end up getting a spring setup where it will drop the rear too much and make it look like a backward rake to the car. my conclusion was the pro-kit...and i'm sooo happy with it. honda's are notorious for the back sag with lowering springs, like the rsx's, ep's, etc. and didnt want that look! not to mention, the rear squats upon any acceleration, and with anything sitting or loaded in the rear.

here we go. earlier today!

i love it. IMO, the front could be a bit lower, like say if i got sportlines for the front and left the pro kit in the rear...but you can't have everything in life. lol.

couple questions...i only cut the bump stops in the front, the rears i didn't bother doing....can anybody elaborate?

also...my salesman told me that no fits they sold come with floormats..and that it was a $220 option. so they just threw in some generic mats from the parts dept that fit fine, but aren't the real thing and don't stay stationary without the hooks. but it did come with the rear cargo rubber mat. true or bull?

Cargo mat is seperate from floor mats, but you might want to find a way to secure your driver side floormat. Problems associated with gas pedals caught under an unsecured floormat are well documented. Tell the guy at the parts department it would be a shame if the mats caused an accident and you had to turn around and sue them into the stone age.

dealer threw in all weather floor mats to sweeten deal for me. so yeah, its an option. Unless initially, they took out all the floor mats out of the cars and then asked if you wanted that option. lol.

I'm loving the drop! I wonder if my wife would like it!

We're still waiting on delivery of an 09 Blackberry Pearl. I couldn't believe it that Fits didn't come with floor mats. I finally went with a dealer that was going to throw in the floor mats for "free". All the dealers that I delt with all kind of laughed at me when I tried to get floor mats, cargo tray and cargo shelf into the deal.

Ah yes, thank you for the pic.

Ok, so with stock tires and 40mm offset, dropped on prokits, you have no rubbing.

Sweet to know. I really want some red Rota Track R's...like...sooooo much but only 40mm. So maybe my dreams aren't quite dashed.

Thank you!

What are your wheels, btw?...so hawt!

Bingo, Konig Retracks, somewhat of a replica of the Sprint Hart CPF's with it's own twist. The Rota Track R's are a direct copy of the Sprint Hart CPR's, and have more of a rounded face with smaller openings. Personally, the Konig's have a much higher quality finish than ... rota's ... and is a bit more of a reputable company. the white with machined lip was sooo hard to find!
big ups to my buddy Adrian over at DTC performance.

tmw i might end up lowering it more...i'll let you know how it goes.

thanks for the info, that's probably the fitment i'd go with.. nothing too aggressive.. at least for daily use.

How hard is it keeping the white wheels clean?
I was thinking the white/polished would look good on my TW GE...but was also thinking about red/polished.
