I agree the fitment is horrible, but it's nothing a couple of spacers couldn't fix honestly.

Those look good Daniel, I think something a little wider would definitely suit the car better, but looks great overall

Maybey you could try a 17'' Mf10 mirror face with the rear s2000 offset but a adapter would be needed. But it would space them out some to

Looks great, but 16's are super small. I would like to see 17's or 18's staggard!!!

Can you guys at Memoryfab find more 4x100 17's and 18's staggard fitment?

It's mos def a bang for your buck part - especially if you're looking to get low. There are several pieces that I'm not excited about, but this is obviously how they keep the cost low (i'm talking about the universal brake line brackets, end link mounts etc). If you're a street car, looking to get low - go get em. If you want to track (real track, not "I'm going to take my car to the track" bullshit) i'd say keep these as an option if you're on a budget - hardcore racers may want to look elsewhere for different spring rates or valving options. The biggest plus, and a big deciding factor for me - if they blow, they'll send you a replacement fast. Good luck getting a JDM strut rebuilt or replaced in a timely manner. ha!

For those of you who ask why did I go D2, the answer is simple. It's not about the money, the name, what's tried and true - whatever. I got them because they go LOW. I can probably lay frame using these coilovers. The frame was 2 fingers away from the floor before before we raised it. Also, the threaded strut mount and the adjustable perch will allow me to dial in my ride height when I finally install the bags.
Cool, thanks for the info, not looking to "lay frame" or even go that low, just looking for a mild drop.

Where did you buy them from?

Of course I can. I've been looking, but there's not a lot that catches my eye. I'm pretty picky lol I just missed out on a set of SSR SP1s. My bid didn't go through!

did they offer you a custom spring rate, i was thinking about 10 kg front and 8 kg rear...but like you i was also thinking about hacking them to put bags later, and i saw that d2 offers a coilover /airbag kit..but also wondering how they cost, im in hawaii so shipping is probably gonna be crippling..but it would be awesome to know the number.

thanks for making the thread, its hard to get good info in hawaii, not too many people do these kind of upgrades nowadays.
