For now I only have a layer of dynamat xtreme liner under the carpet. It's a discontinued item now, but its a very thick deadener with lead in it. And I noticed a huge road noise reduction with it added, I want to dynamat extreme the doors and hatch just haven't got the funds right now being on the unemployment line.

Hey man you did a great job with your install. I am planning on installing components up front and coax in the back. Im curious, are the adapters that honda used for the stock speakers identical for front and back?

I think they are just terminals, can't really remember since I amplified everything I didn't even use the stock wiring.

Well if you didn't live so far away I'd say whenever you have the gear and are ready. I still do install work and I don't charge near what shops do :P

I was actually referring to the plastic housing of the speaker, but i took all my door panels off tonight and saw they were identical. It looks like Im going to need to redo the wiring for the front anyhow because of how my components are. The rears I could use stock wires but itll bug me that the fronts and backs arent the same. How hard is it to take off the b-pillar plastics so that i can get to the grommet to the door?

The fit interior is easy as pie to get apart, compared to most cars I have worked on.

A fuse or breaker within 12" inches from the battery is always recommended.
For the factory Nav unit, you will need a LOC (line output converter) and i would recommend a good high quality one such as RE-Q or this
Products

If you just adding a sub/amp, get that 2 ch LOC and wire the LOC's inputs spliced into your rear speaker outs, either from the back of your HU or directly to the speakers -/+ terminals. Remember your going to splice into those wires meaning tap into them so the speakers are also still connected of course. This will give you the output needed to run RCA's to your amp. it's quite simple to do actually.

You can use a panel puller and a pick tool kit, both should be available from either an auto parts store or home depot/lowes. The panel puller is about $10 and the pick tool kick is around $20 for a good set, $5 for a cheapo one.

How much would you consider selling all speakers including the tweeters to 90650?

Most tweeters in components these days are around 1", I don't recall the exact size of mine but they fit relatively easy with very little modification. Be sure to use HIGH temp hot glue if you do what I did, or you can use 2 part epoxy so they stay put.
