PLX Kiwi won't work with Fit

I happen to own a PLX Kiwi mileage computer/scan reset tool. It works on our 2003 Camry but says "connector fail" when I hook it up to my 2010 Fit Sport. I called PLX, who said apparently Honda changed the OBD II connector and it's not compatible (!), but I could make an adapter if I wanted to-they don't plan to. Anyone have similar experience with scan tools, etc?

I'm doing some research into this, thinking of buying one. You ever get it to work?

Yup-turned out it was defective, fixed under warranty-works OK. I AM disappointed with the free apps, though. I think Torque is the best one. I was hoping for oil pressure readouts, but I guess that ain't gonna happen. I wanted something simpler than installing regular gauges in such a small dash. Kiwi IS working on their own app, they told me...
