just a little info for anyone else who's wiring up the JDM powerfolding.

de-pin all wires from the JDM clip harness. 3 of those need to go into your USDM clip harness for power mirror function.

you should be left with wires colored; pink, purple, white and black.

here's what they're for.

Pink= winker LED +
purple= winker LED ground
White= pin 8 on RC switch
black= pin 7 on RC switch.

yea i finished, they look sexy and work great! folding option is GREAT! i fold my mirrors everytime i park now. if you have any questions just shoot them my way. its pretty straight forward, the only confusing part is which wires were which, but after about 2 min. of probing it was fairly easily.

Thumbs up

Congrats, post a vid so we can all be jealous...

I might be getting these earlier than I thought, and from what I'm seeing I have to repin the JDM's to match the OEM harness, I'll be sure to bug you with questions... Thanks.

Oh, did you wire them up to auto-fold when you lock the car, or do you have to push the button on the new switch? (speaking of which does that thing just pop out or is it screwed it?) thanks again.

Sorry buddy, I don't really understand what you're trying to ask. To clarify though, the install is exactly the same as niko's DIY. The only exception is to "plug" the extra wires into the R/C switch

Or if you really run into trouble or are confuse you can face time my iPad and I'll walk you through it =P lol just email me ahead.

Yep. Exact same. Just slice the wires together before you pinned them into the R/C switch

Sorry Cocowheat, but as much as i read i get more lost.

this is hat i have , factory power mirrors with side blinkers, when i have my jdm mirrors hte only thing i have to do is to power the fold & unfold option by sliding two wires each side to the jdm RC, thats all or i have to do something else in the fuse box?
Sorry for the inconvinience
