What Fits? Hauling Tales.

Did a search, but didn't turn up a thread. Anyway, a 55" LG LCD TV, new in the box, could lay flat in the back as if the car was designed for it.

My wife's Fit is our go-to vehicle for enclosed hauling.

I'm hauling an eleven month old grandson around a lot. He doesn't like riding in the car or Joni Mitchell.
I can tickle his foot at red lights and the wide opening of the back door makes putting him in the car seat easy.
I'm able to use the magic seat on the other side for the stroller. People stare in disbelief as I put it inside. Groceries in the back. All if this and 37mpg .

5' - 8' adjustable step ladder, 6 boxes of binders, bucket of tools, and luggage for a jobsite visit. My 8" Bazooka tube is in there too under the bag:

Definitely not as much as I've stuffed into the Fit, but a decent haul.

We have had several console televisions (including a 1954 RCA CT-100, first color television,) a Maytag washer, dryer, an entire furnace with ductwork, an overstuffed chair, paving stones, ladders, and lots more.

A couple years ago I hauled about 8 boxes of laminate flooring for my house, plus underlay and tools. The guy at Rona was surprised to see everything fit so easily without obscuring my view of the back window.

So far...

Assembled gas grill, 69 folding metal chairs and lots of luggage.

But if you do a search here, you'll find that a member put in a pony!

Have a 13 Fit Base. Wife & I have used it to travel, and she was astonished that it holds as much as her Toyota Camry. Bags, "stuff", all the things you take on a trip. She also likes the magic seats, and that when the rear seats are in normal position, you can hide stuff under them. My 2nd Honda & have always been amazed at how much stuff you can haul.

Band road trip from Toronto to Ottawa with a convoy of three vehicles. Fit an entire drum kit in cases (Bass drum, Snare, two toms, two hardware cases, cymbal bag) plus an entire protools recording rig, merch box, luggage for three people and three people (driver and two passengers) AND still made 6.5L/100km!

Soft spot for drummers. Best bud thought he was Buddy Rich's love child. Where would we be without the beat?

Drummers are fun to watch at shows! I'm more of a Keith Moon style guy, but Buddy Rich was undeniably an absolute genius.

Minus the front seats and dash, but there was plenty of room for them if I wanted to.

You can unclip the rear seatbelt that goes to the roof? I didn't know that!
