2011 Fit Spied at Work
For the moment, I am doing some temp work for Auto Warehousing in Portland and most of my time is spent at Honda. We finally got the first of what will surely be quite a few 2011 Fits and there are a couple minor changes.
For starters, VSC is now standard across the board. This is either good or bad, depending on how you feel about it. From what I was able to tell, the interior hasn't changed at all although there are three new colors. Blackberry Pearl is no longer and there is no replacement. Storm Silver and Tidewater Blue are no longer but the replacements, Alabaster Silver and Polished Metal, are quite nice. The Tidewater Blue replacement is called Celestial Blue and is not quite as light. I like to call it a graphite blue. There were only a few of those and they weren't in the areas where we were working so I wasn't able to get a picture of them. I did get pics of the gray and silver, though.

The 2011s are now on the Honda website!
The color replacements scream "safe" to me. Pretty boring:

I also noticed they now have "tinted glass" as standard for base and Sport, but judging from the above pics, the windows still don't look to have any tint on them.

BMW's Space Gray (has purple hue) and their Titanium Gray (has green hue), both of which are nice colors; but to me they aren't appealing once that hue/tint shows. The Polished Metal Metallic actually looks a lot like Gunmetal Gray to me without that colored hue/tint.

it kinda looks like the magnetic gray metallic colour on the toyota matrix.
i really like that gun metal type colour. when i got my 2010 fit my first impression was. "if only it came in a bit darker gray..."

we need a green like they put on the new camaros. i work for a relatively large dealership doing detail and we had a scion tc in that color green with a body kit and tinted windows and it looked fantastic.

Tried holding out until the 2011's arrived, but couldn't resist and bought a Fit Sport a week ago, so I'm super pleased that there are no real surprises. Only changes I can see are VSA, floor mats, and colors -- all expected. Nice!

I'm kinda of glad they got rid of SSM. I was starting to get tired of seeing them all over the place (sucks because I have SSM). I do like the PMM but think it might be too dark. I like black cars but after owning one and see how you can see every speck of dust on it when it was clean drove me nuts. I have a feeling the PMM will be the same. Alabaster Silver looks like a nice alternative...looks almost white in those pics.
Can anybody find the Fits sales reports by color? (if there is such a thing) I have a feeling SSM would be #1.
