Hey guys,

Just got my 2010 5-Speed Tafetta White Fit Sport this Saturday, heres a pic of it, I'm planning tinting it this weekend and hardwiring my Valentine 1 radar.

Planning on doing some simple and clean mods for now, nothing too crazy. Maybe some wheels and coils in the spring. Hopefully K series swaps will become an option down the road.

Congrats on the new buy! Doubt a K will be under the tiny hood of the '09-up cars anytime soon though.

Specboy where did you mount the v1? I was thinking of putting mine up top near mirror, but i have the rear mirror shade up there, not to mention the reciver for my remote starter and my ez pass (as well as my mugen mirror cover coming in)

specboy,

I also have a concealed display I'm planning on installing. Like Punisher11 I am also wondering where you mounted your V1, I will most likely mount it right next to my top mirror rendering the shade useless...

I've got mine to the right of the mirror up high. The Concealed Display will go in the lower left corner of the dash by the base of the window (behind where the NJ, PA and many other) inspection stickers go. (VT has them behind the rear view mirror in the middle of the windshield.) The mounting location for the Concealed display puts it in a great spot for simple visibility and the V1 up high gives good radar coverage and easy access to the Mute button. (Laser coverage is really useless anyway).

My Sigpic has my Cardomain link with pics of the V1 mounting. I currently have a thermometer right next to where i'm going to mount the concealed Display. I'll have a row of info "screens" there. In/out Temp, radar location/bogey counter.

I finally threw together a DIY so you can see my V1 solution. click the Link in my Sig for Hardwiring my V1

I think I'm going to end up with mine back where I had it in the GS-R which is the lower left corner of the windshield, so it's visible for me without having to look up or down.

Congrats on the HW and Concealed display... an naturally everything I mentioned in my 1st post.
