wingless fit? pics?

been searching some pics, and looking at some different fits on here, and well, something about the fit without a wing is catching my eye. i first noticed it with "backwoods" avatar and i started looking. i'm thinking about taking mine off but i'm not sure about doing it as there would be holes left behind.

has anyone on here done the wing delete? or are they basemodels that are wingless? i'd love to see what wingless fits are on here, and would like some advice on taking mine off.

The base model (and DX in Canada) don't have a wing.

Removing it from other models would leave unsightly holes. It might be easier to try to find someone willing to trade hatches with you.

I have a sport so I'm not sure but I would guess that if you can add a wing to the base models then there must be some kind of inserts that would cover up the holes.

i think it looks "ok" with the spoiler off the Sport. problem is that when you remove the wing, your left with about 4 bullet holes where the spoiler was, thats why i put mine back on...
