Impatiently waiting for my PRM intake.
Today, I checked under the hood of the car to see if I am able to do it myself.
I realized that I can't so I'm going to install it at my local aftermarket dealership =(

Wait and check out the installation instructions before you make a decision to pay someone to do it for you.... The money saved would probably pay for a basic set of tools if you can't borrow some and the gratification of doing the job yourself will provide confidence to undertake other projects on your car

As long as it is not a cold air intake it shouldn't be very difficult and you will love what it sounds like....Happy wrenching.

Mine gets driven very little and not at all for long periods also.... Getting old and aches and pains from degenerative bone disease of the joints.... I hope you get to spend some time behind the wheel soon.

It's not as hard as it looks, once you get the massive plastic stock box out of the way. I did it to my Solstice, and once the air box was gone, the engine bay looked empty! Piece of cake from then on.

Knee surgery for torn meniscus. Can't drive clutch until my knee is rehabilitated - worst thing to go through.

I have heard nothing but positive things about the PRM filter and intakes..... Very good choice you made.... I inquired by e mail about a filter to replace the one that came on the Kraft Werks S/C on my car and never heard back.... Were you able to do the installation yourself?

I added a stone guard to lower grill. I had the mesh from Home Depot laying under my deck for the last couple of years. I gave it a shot of semigloss black. I removed the two clips way down low on the bumper. When fitting the mesh I marked the holes for those clips. I insert the clips first and they held the mesh in place while doing the ties. I did not have black ties. The white ones are not that noticeable. I cut the mesh a bit too tall and that way I could push it in at the top for a tight fit. I was not to concerned about scratching bumper as it is plastic and will not rust and cannot be seen.

Some pics.
