My First Exterior Mod Yellow Fogs

So I thought the Fit was dying for some yellow fogs. Picked up some vinyl from AZNCARBOS on these forums.

Made a template using the stock lights, install them using the Tint Method.

Wet the lens, and the film, slid them in place and used a blowdryer on HOT to smooth out the bubbles and dry up the water. Carefully wrapped them around the edges.

good although, the yellow bulb would have done the same but without the yellow lens look. Looks fine imo and this way you can buy cheap white bulbs and it will still look yellow :P

Can't beat the price, $7.50 shipped for 2 sheets, I only needed 1.
And I like the yellow look when off, plus a little extra protection for the fogs against rocks.

I was debating about using film or just get the bulb. But I really like how its still yellow when turned off.

Keep it up! Can't wait for more!

lol, it's pretty easy to make a template. All you need to do is take some paper wrap around the lens, and take a pencil and shade in the edges.

Take your time, mine came out perfect. Get your sheets from AZNCARBOS, great deal.

LOOKS GREAT but i would highly recommend to follow my DIY found here:

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...s-answers.html

the reason why is because u wrapped the film all the way to the edge of the glass, leaving no place for the extra air to escape and will probably burn a brown spot right in the center of the film. I'd go back and trim off the excess to prevent it.

nah it's a little shorter on the edge of the glass, besides, I have another sheet if something happens.

ok, so I've gotten a few requests to post the template so here it is:
Note Real size of the template measures 5" wide and 3.25" tall.

Resize accordingly, may want to trim a little like the guy above said just in case.

Sweet, but personally I'm kinda iffy on the yellow fog lights on the white car...I got TW too but have been debating whether or not it'd really look that great. I wanted to get some clear vinyl to protect it for sure though!

Do you know what kind/brand of material the stuff is? and how big are the sheets? I'd love to use that stuff (assuming he has colorless) for other things as well.

I'd buy the clear bra material if you were going after that, only because it would be clearer than the vinyl stuff. I was looking to use it on the side sills and rear corner edges where rocks will fly from the wheels.

you can buy the bulk sheets from invisibilemask.com

we have had heavy rain here for about 4 days straight and mine have already started bubbling up around the edges and have water in the bubbles. Oh well, I guess Ill order the bulbs and take the film off.
