mirror tilt function
Im not sure if there will be much interest in this but I thought Id throw this out there. I have this feature in my other car where the passenger side mirror tilts down when I put the car in reverse. Its very helpful when parking near curbs to avoid "curbing" your rims. I had this module installed by my local stereo shop because I wasnt sure what wires to tap into. But its not too hard if yo know what you're doing. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll point you to the website (to purchase module) and tell you what wires you need.

thats very nice.
i personally have found good middle ground with mine.
i just keep it half on the ground and half facing back.
it's very easy with these huge mirrors we got.
but non the less this is a good mod.

I didnt get the PM. I thought you forgot and I didnt want to be pushy so I just paid someone to do it for me. It took them 4 hours to figure it out so I doubt if I could have done it myself.

Nice feature but I'm undecided due to extra use of the mirror motor. Currently I use the power mirror motors at most once a month. Doing this mod would put my use at minimum 6 times a day and many days much much more. Remember each time you put into reverse is two uses of the mirror motor. Are the Fit mirror motors designed for this increased use?

I think this is what the OP used. rear tilt module ---> KP Technologies
Thinking about getting this and the DEI motion sensor add-on to the factory alarm and getting them both installed at once by a good shop.
Especially after seeing my rims a little scratched.
