Where is the toolkit

I'm not sure if I looking in the right place but I can't find the toolkit, should be a wheel nut wrench and extension at least. US 09 Fit Sport. The manual says it should/could be on top of the spare tire. Any thoughts.

Thanks.

I found something wrapped up in cloth, blue cloth, under the rear right seat. It feels like tools. I haven't opened it yet. It was kind of tucked behind the place where the metal leg for the seat lodges, when the seat is down.

One of those wrap it up in cloth and tie with the attached cord things.

Mine is in the spare tire well but outside the spare tire.
You might want to check with the dealership where you got the car if it's not there.

That's exactly where it was (in both cars). I'll have to email the sales rep and explain :-) (I'd already asked him about it) but I have another questions so that's OK.

Looks like:

The bag is more blue than this picture. Should have used a flash.

Thanks for all the other suggestions.

Right on! Good news!

And it makes perfect sense to store the tool kit under the back seat, separated from the spare tire, because that is exactly what I would do in the case of a flat, flip up my rear seat in frustration...NOT!!!!

It might be put there so it doesn't rattle around when test driving?

I wouldn't have known it was there, or that a tool kit even came with the car if I hadn't taken a bunch of recycling to the car and deciding to use the flip up rear seat option to toss the bags of recycling on the all-weather mats. And keep the cargo area free for groceries. I still have recycling to take in, and I don't want the groceries exposed to the sun if it is preventable.

I had a vague recollection of seeing it somewhere but it might have been a car I test drove :-) Strange place for it but at least they both turned up (two new Fits ;-)

It makes as much apparent sense as keeping your shoes in the fridge.
