Looks like the settlement hasn't been finalized yet. Only a few signatures on the Settlement Agreement with the most recent being dated 9.1.2017.

Because Takata knew they were bad for years before telling anybody..

I guess that's one of my hangups. The only people that really benefit from class-actions are the lawyers themselves.
The money should go to people who were actually harmed by faulty bags, not people who aren't really impacted by it. My fit is actually in the shop today to get the inflator swapped out. I'm not really put out by taking my car in, I just timed it with an inspection, so just go to a dealer for this inspection instead of my normal shop.
I don't think I'm owed $500 from anyone.
