New fit owner / exhaust question

To save you all from a long and boring story, I recently bought a 2012 fit sport, and yes, it's loud. Well, as it turns out, there doesn't appear to be a muffler on the back at all. So here I am, I need of a muffler that won't drag on the ground, but still has a good sound to it. Any suggestions? I say "drag on the ground" because the car is already pretty darn low.

I'd start by going to an exhaust shop the good thing is if your tailpipe is there they can hold a muffler up to it and you can hear it..

If you want to use the stock exhaust hangers on a 2012/2013 Fit sport to repair your exhaust, the issue you're going to run into is the stock muffler has both the inlet into the muffler and the outlet from the muffler on the same end of the muffler. The inlet and outlet basically face the front of the car. This makes replacement with a non-stock muffler more difficult with the lack of space back there.

Wagner makes a replacement stock muffler assembly for about $115.00 that can be found on Ebay. If you're looking for a throatier sound from the exhaust, you might have to go to a replacement cat-back that'll be a lot costlier.
