Remote Start Question

Remote Start Question
I have factory installed remote start in both my vehicles (Honda Fit & Chevy Malibu).
The Chevy Malibu fires up on cold mornings without issue.
If the temp is below 12 degrees, the remote start on Honda Fit tries to start but cannot. It can start perfectly with a key.
I replaced the battery, but IMO, I think it has to do with the amount of cranks. It seems like it only tries to crank twice and if it doesn't start it gives up, where as the Malibu will crank until it starts (muck like having a key in the ignition).
Is there a way (programmable) to change the amount of cranks on the remote start before it gives up????
