Synlube oil filters anyone?

Hello,

I am changing my oil once a year and I use the high mileage grade Amsoil oil for a few years now. Because Amsoil no longer sells its EAO grade oil filters that needs to be changed at 25K miles, I am buying the EA15k13 filters rated for 15K miles.

I am trying to find an alternative filter and it seems that synlube is selling a filter that needs to be changed at very long intervals: this filter for the fit is the J20ns. That would meet my needs. The cost is $24 a filter, so it is not cheap by any means.

Thanks if you have heard of them or use them.
Best to all.

Hydro.

i only use the factory filter on my cars or the k&n and Mobil1 filters available at amazon. no need for fancy filters imho.. never had issues on any of my cars. i usually only change oil once a year before the obc tells me it's time.

Thanks for the answers guys. Kenchan, it does not seem that you drive as much as I do per year as I go for at least two cycles and reset the obc twice before I change my oil.

Amsoil has been a champ for me with its ea15K filters. Since I still had enough oil to get a new oil change, I did my oil change after 25K mi of driving in a year and I used this time a full synthetic filter by Royal purple.

I will next year switch to synlube: oil + filter+ magnet (I did lot of research about this oil) and will report after a few years of use with only topping off the oil.

Cheers to all.

All my cars get the oil changed at 3,000mi at the most. Use Wix oil filters with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. Easy PM task.
