springs please

Thanks for the pics, but can you get one one the springs....

best bet is to go under the car from the rear....the springs are easier to see there, especially the left side. If it's red or green then it's aftermarket....if it's back, take a few close pics so we can see if the oem spring were cut....

you would also be experiencing a harsh ride....

Yup

Looks aftermarket and beat up to me...

I'm sure there are more than a few members here with stock springs to sell you...

Depending on how long they were on though you may need to get strut replacements as well.

Check rockauto...I used kyb-excels and have been happy with them.

Springs from a member or eBay should run 50-100....I left some behind in NYC, I can reach out to see if they still have them.

A together it might come out to 500 for springs and shocks, maybe a touch less or more if there are other things needing replacement.

Other than the rear damper i have all struts & springs with about 15000 miles looking for a home. They can be yours if you cover shipping

So just to confirm that there is a high chance if springs replaces with stock it will be raised to stock height?

Yup. The damper looks stock so my guess is that it would sit a few inches off the wheels. If i remember correctly you are in Canada so lowered you will be a snow plow.

I'm in Calgary as well......i'm lowered, with good winter tires you should be ok

I'm on swift springs but from the pictures your Fit is running a slightly more aggressive setup (i.e. even lower than mine).

Just swap out the springs for OEM springs and you'll be back to stock ride height. I have my OEM springs still, but I'm keeping them in case I ever need to go back to stock.

Where did you pick up the Fit from? enjoying it so far?

I have the exact same model, have owned it since new, it's a great car.

Price

Cost me about 570

Would have been under 500 but I was having a hard time with the rears had it done at a shop and aligned.

You will need an alignment afterwards.
