2012 Honda Fit mod recommend
#2
I added a leather steering wheel cover to my '12 Fit Base (I used the Honda version, which is a very good fit over the wheel but rather tedious to install, and mine ripped a bit while putting it on). It makes the wheel feel much nicer in my opinion, and you do spend a good bit of time touching the steering wheel.
Clazzio seat covers are another popular addition, and I don't think I've heard of many people—if indeed any people—who have been dissatisfied with them. They look very much like upscale factory seat upholstery.

Depends on what you want out of your car, really. If you just want some mods for the sake of modding, here's a short list:
- Shaved badges (takes $5-10, and about a half hour)
- Shorty antenna (I used SickSpeed, but I kinda like the Blox ones better)
- Leather steering wheel/shift knob (or if you have a manual car, any other shift knob - you like. I'm a fan of the Mugen and Spoon ones, but there are millions of them around.)
- Progress sway bar
- Intake (lots of options)
- Exhaust (about as many options as intake)
- Floor mats
- LED conversion (Love my LED Dome light. Check superbrightleds for your bulb sizes. They only list the Sport model, but all the bulbs are the same. You just don't have fogs).

I agree that improving the steering wheel grip is a nice simple mod. My stock wheel seems hard and slippery. And, although the leather recommendations might be great, even the cheaper foam-rubber covers make the wheel feel alot better. I bought a thick, soft foam cover from Autozone which feels really good on the hands. And although you can buy a nice tight-fitting cover, always put some strips of double-sided carpet tape between the cover and the wheel, to keep it firmly aligned and snugly in place.

When you're driving, it's hard to intuitively and easily find the correct window control button to push, on the driver's side door arm rest. Seems silly, but fumbling with the control panel while driving usually results in opening/closing front and backs like a crazed monkey. Put one tiny drop on GOOP glue on the front buttons only, and let it dry to a small hard dimple. That way you will have a tactile dimple on the surface of those buttons which allows for easy differentiation, front from back, without looking.
