Question Trickle Charger for 2010 Fit

After replacing my 2nd battery on my 2010 Fit Sport with less than 10000 miles, I am considering buying a trickle charger to maintain a charge.
I know nothing about cars or trickles, any suggestions what brand or type to buy?

I have several BatteryMinder Plus, Model 12117. Use them on my RV (three batteries) and my Fit. This is a "smart" charger, meaning it reduces the trickle as the battery becomes full, and also "desulfinates" the battery once it has a full charge. I can't remember what I paid for them, but it's a nice enough product that I bought two of them.

Why do you need one? Does your car sit for weeks at a time without being started? If not, maybe you have a piece of equipment or a light that is parasitic draw. Sometimes aftermarket audio equipment is wired hot all the time instead of hot only when key is in "run" or "accessory". This happens with amps since the source will be off, but the amp still on drawing silent power.

I would recommend battery minder too. The popular 12117 model has now been replaced though with an improved 1500/1510 model.
check it out on amazon. the first couple reviews will explain everything
