Talking 2013 Honda Fit Sports OFFER

Hi Fit Lovers,
I am looking into buying my first Honda Fit.

For New 2013 Black Honda Fit Sports Automatic the dealer has offered $16,650 ($18,500 out of door). Black is not my first choice but dealer has only Black or Silver available.
Is that a good price considering 2015 is almost here ?

Please provide your opinions.

Thanks

We need to know the price before taxes in order to let you know if it's a good deal or not.

They offered me $16,650 + tax + docs + dmv/mvc = $18,500 out of door.

Thanks for pointing out ... I've updated the thread !

Seems like a pretty fair offer to me if you want a 13. That is a few thousand savings.

That's right at $1,000 less than I paid for my 2013 Fit sport AT back in 2012. So I guess you just need to ask yourself if that's a good deal or not. I personally wouldn't do it unless I were paying cash and in love with the color.

Thanks for your reply!

Why is it a bad deal and why you would not do it?

Thx again

It's not a bad deal at all, but I would probably find a lightly used 2013 for less and actually get the color I wanted. I honestly wish I had bought mine used instead of new. It's just not worth the hit you take being the first owner.

Good deal

I've been shopping like a true Fit Freak and that's a good offer.
Now that the choices for '13s are slimming down the discounts are what they are.
About $2,000 of list on a Sport and $1,500 on a Base Auto. The Base 5 speed are in short supply unless you want red or blue.
Black or silver are good choices. If you live in a moderate climate area and don't have a long gravel drive like me black is the best color.
With the low interest rate and the fact that many '13s are from Japan and not from China or Mexico is another plus.
The '15s are selling close to list. Lower trim level models don't seem to exist. And they are a new design from a new factory.
Go for it. I'm going to get a base auto hopefully in white and only 300 miles away.

My first color choice was midnight plum purple (gf wants this) and second choice is black. Plum purple is not available around at all in NJ

Couple of whites are available though at other dealers.

Thanks for all the replies.
