What's up everybody? My name is Ryan and I live in Orange County, NY. My other car is an '01 Audi TT that I have fully modded minus a big turbo. I'm pretty involved with the TT crowd and do a lot of group drives and events and such. I'm a regular contributor on the quattroworld.com MK1 TT forum.
I'm excited to say that I picked up a new '13 Sport Manual in Polished Metal this past Friday. Fell in love with the car over the weekend by taking it on some of my favorite roads. My daily driver/beater for the past few years has been a 98 Acura CL 5spd that is truly a great car but I was seriously getting tired of it and wanted something fun, and the Fit delivers on that big time!
The main reason I purchased the Fit is to haul my puppy around and still get good gas mileage for my 60 mile per day commute. Maximus likes the Fit almost as much as I do. He keeps trying to get me to teach him how to drive.
The Fit's first day on the job it helped me transport the TT's summer wheel setup followed shortly thereafter by a trip to Lowes to pickup a new screen door. You gotta love the utility of these cars:

I've been lurking on here the past week or so and have already ordered the following things:
1) Formfit hood protector
2) U-Ace 3D floor liners
3) Black Clazzio Seat Covers
4) Headlight Armor fog protectors and rear tail light smoke covers
5) A dog barrier and door protectors
6) Waiting on my oem window vents and cargo liner too.
Looking forward to being involved on here and modding the Fit for handling purposes first and foremost. I'm pretty happy about the performance of it at the moment. Definitely better than I was expecting.

I like the color too. Where did you get the seat covers from? I wanted to order from Bean Garage but they seem to be out of stock of both Black and Ivory. I wasn't interested in the Black/Grey combo that was in stock.
I wouldn't mind the wait for the shipping from Japan, but we may be moving to a new address soon.

I have a 13 Fit Base 5 MT that I bought in Jan. Same color as yours. I think the color makes the car look more "upscale". Wife & I took a trip and had the car packed out with "stuff". Went from Phoenix to Sedona, from 1300' to about 6000', no problem (some downshifting from 5th to 4th cuz of slow traffic). Really love this little car. It really IS different than other cars I've had and that is why I like it.

Thank you very much. He's pretty awesome and I think he knows it.

Here's some pics of the door covers and the barrier with the seats down.
It hangs from 4 plastic tabs between the window and seal. May not work well when I get my windows tinted.
As far as the dog barrier goes, it uses rings that you put on the headrest posts. I found I could get it a lot tighter if I put the ring that is supposed to go on the inner driver side post on the outer side post. As you can see it's off-center at the moment. Still have to try and make it fit better and tighter and look for better places to hook it under the seat.
It goes all the way down to the floor and has nice steel inserts that keep it pretty solid. The bottom needs to be pulled down tighter to hopefully do away with the little bulge in the middle. It makes putting the seats back up a little harder than normal.

I picked up the same model at the beginning of the month, albeit used (one previous owner for 6 months). I love it.
Mine doesn't take up quite as much space (seen here in her previous ride) :
