New to cars

Hi everyone. I'm a new owner of a 2013 honda fit and I just wanted to know any sites or help to make my new car a little bit nicer. I hate everything stock on it so I just wanted to know where to buy parts like body kits and interior accessories.

Hey Benruz congrats on the new car and welcome to Fitfreaks!. First thing is first what do you want from the car? What will the car be to you, basically what I am asking is what your end goals for your car? some examples are do you just want it to "look" better, do you want it to perform better, do you plan to race it on weekends or something that is just daily driven to puts around town with?

SO now you know what direction you want to take your car, think to your self what kind of budget do you have and how much do you want to spend. IF you dont really have a plan or direction you want to go with the car you will end up spending a lot of money on parts twice.

Now that you got that all sorted out if you scroll down on the forum you will find we have sub sections for Boost, engine builds, Interior, exterior and suspension. AL great place to start reading. IF you scroll down even a little bit more you will find our sponsors section. These are all companies that carry parts for the Fit, they might not have what you are looking for but its a great start. After that you can always type key words into google.

^This 100x over. The most important advice I could give to someone follows:

1. Have fun
2. Have a vision, stick to it
3. Don't go into unreasonable debt doing it

I would suggest browsing the forums for a few weeks and just get a general idea of what is out there and what people are doing. I for one wanted to get the best mpg possible and all mods I do would be for the most part "reversible" in case I need to ever sell the car (I doubt it). So far I have Aries 3D liners for easy access clean up, PRM intake for better MPG (from 35 to 40!) and some Axis tail lights for looks. Also in the works: FX-R retrofit for visibility, and coilovers / wheels for even better mpg.
