Windshield appearance question

Windshield appearance question
I just had the windshield replaced on my 2010 Fit. When they were done I noticed that the gasket at the top sticks up, it sort of looks like the rain gutters on older cars. I mentioned this and the guy said that's what they look like, I just never looked carefully at my old windshield. I said I've washed the car a dozen times and didn't remember anything not being flush.
I looked at another Fit and it looked the same but the owner wasn't around so I couldn't ask her if that were the original windshield or a replacement. I looked at two other (non-Fit) Hondas and the windshields looked flush.
Did they do it wrong? Should I insist they come back and install it differently?

It will make it more annoying to wash the car and it should've been done right.
Safelite did it. It sticks up 1/2 cm. Which might not sound like much but at high speeds it's little things like that, that disrupt air flow over the car and increase the drag coefficient.

My price even better- in NY insurance companies give the option of zero deductible on glass so I didn't do anything but make a couple of phone calls and leave the car in my driveway.
Seems to me that if their gasket doesn't fit as well as OEM they shouldn't be using it.

Damn that's a clean car.

I remember when I was working at a Honda dealership we subbed-out windshield replacements just because oem is super expensive. Customers rarely complain about gasket fitments unless it's sticking out pretty bad or leaking.
I suggest buying the oem Honda gasket if it really bothers you and just get it replaced by the same guys that installed you windshield.
