2010 Fit with Nav

Just bought 2010 Fit from non-Honda dealer. Original Window sticker doesn't show NAV but this has a complete touch screen NAV. The boot/flash screen says Honda Navigation but it doesn't look at all like the OEM NAV unit.

I have no manuals or anything. It requires passwords for system setup which we don't have. How do I figure out if this is a Honda Nav unit?

Additional note, the NAV unit in it has no knobs at all. It is 100% touchscreen. It has an SD card slot, a USB cable connector, and a slot for a Card that I assume contains the maps.

Can you supply me with the VIN# so I can check if this is a factory Nav car.

I am pretty sure it isn't factory. I don't see it on the window sticker and every picture I have found for the OEM has knobs with it. This unit is touch screen with Nav, AM/FM/CD, TV capable, It is confusing that the entire unit start up screen lists Honda but then the NAV software looks like iGO

It sounds to me like it's an aftermarket unit that allows for customized startup screens. You'd probably have to go after the maker of the system for update information and such (assuming that it's made by a company that offers customer support, of course); and you may need to pull it out of the dash to figure that out. I'd hunt for some system setup or information or version screen first, of course.

I don't believe the OEM Honda nav unit has an SD card slot. It does have a bunch of buttons around the screen, and a USB cable that (I assume) is in the glove box. If that's nothing like your unit, it's not the factory one and a Honda dealer wouldn't be able to help too much (if any).

This is fun, the dealer advertised this as a Honda Factory Nav. I just found the unit for sale on eBay. It is made in China.

Anyone know where I can get a manual?

Why not try the Ebay seller. You never know he may send you one.

I plan on it, I can't access eBay messaging from work. We block any 3rd party messaging.

I gave that up in 2001. I now play with my Fit and Slot Cars.

I know this is an old post but wondering if you got the System to work? if so, how is it? does it actually play DVD's and how is the nav system? curious about possibly upgrading my 2010 fit with this unit.
