Door Panel Vinyl

I was wondering if anyone has any tips or products that keep the door vinyl looking clean i swear i try and not touch it and it gets those nicks and dings in it. Or has anyone replaced the door vinyls on their car i feel like im not the only one annoyed by it

ahh... is that fabric or vinyl? if fabric, would 3M scotch guard work?

i dont have any issues on my 5yr old 09... so i dont expect any issues on my '12 either. i dont use any protectant for the non plastic bits.

I am still searching for the inner chrome door handle to replace the stock grey one~

Where'd you find the first ones from?

I know D.A.D Garson offers those trim pieces in chrome, but they only sell them in a complete set (as per their US distributor).... and by complete set I mean the complete interior trim kit --- all on this page - GARSON | LUXURY INTERIOR PANEL COLLECTION [ FIT GE6~9 ]

Let us know if your able to just get the handle surround trim piece.

I've got those piano black trim cover from rakuten.co.jp as it is difficult if not impossible to get these kind of stuff here in Sydney Australia.

As per the chrome door handle, I would rather like a chrome handle replacement rather than a simple double tape cover.

Did Honda actually made chrome door handle for GE8??

Afaik, the Garson chrome handles are complete replacements... that's what the distributor I bought them from told me, only to tell me 5 months later that Garson would only sell the whole kit (I did get a refund).
I thought about searching a different distributor, or trying to translate some Japanese sites to see if they're sold individually (just the handles), but other mods are taking up my time now. I'll give it another search (rakuten & yahooauctions.jp) when I get a chance, I'm sure some company must make them.

I've scoured Honda Access, and other Japanese sites, and I don't think Honda ever came out with the chrome handles for the GE8, as they did with the GD's.

Well, that might be something...

Maybe set up a Group buy interest thread, to see if you can get 10 people. I'm not sure if there's much interest as there was with the GD's but I don't see why not.

Depending on price I'll get a set.
