4x100, at least 56.1mm hub bore: exactly if you want hubcentric, greater if it's not that important to you. I've run non hubcentric steelies in some pretty rough conditions and they were fine, so take that for what you will. Offset is not that important as most steel wheels have high or close to factory offsets anyway. At least 14" wheels to clear the brake calipers.
Good luck with your search

Thanks very much. I guess worst case I can get these with free shipping (love prime) : Unique Wheel 83 Black Wheel (14x5.5"/4x100mm) : Amazon.com : Automotive, they should work, right? Should I contact unique wheel to ask about the bore or is there such a thing as universal?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
There are lots of Honda, Mazda, and Toyota 4x100 wheels out there in scrapyards at $10-15 a wheel that will meet your needs for snow tires.
Offset is generally 45 to 55 mm which work fine. The 45 mm is of course best because it gives a little wider track thus camber that helps in snow. If you want you can buy 1/4" spacers to widen track by 12mm (55mm then become 49mm offset per wheel). The main thing getting wheels on craigslist or ebay is ensuring the wheels clear the brake calipers. Its not automatic but it has happened to buyers. And check the used wheels foir straightness by spinning against a marker front and rear of each rim. (thats why local junkyards are better than craigslist or ebay, you inspect before you buy.)
BTW when you get snow tires a tad less narrow section and tad bigger diameter are advantages in snow but nothing beats the tread design. And if you find a wheel, unlikely but, with hub bore too small those spacers will eliminate the problem by setting the bore outside the hub.
good luck.

They are fairly strong, I've put them on a racetrack and had a few offs with them with 50 series sidewalls and they didn't bend at all.
