Place to mount Scan or Ultra Gauge??
Has anyone found a good place to mount a Scan Gauge or Ultra Gauge, in their Fit?
I have a SC in my Tacoma, and if I don't move it to the Fit, I may get a UG, if I can figure out where to mount it.
I would rather not mount it on top of dash, or with a windshield mount.

Thanks for the pic. Not sure I want to block a/d vents. SW FL, and we use a/c all the time!
What brand is the dash pad? Carpet? Velor? or other? How do you like it? Does it get very hot parked in sun? The plastic dash must get up to around 150 degrees!
Thanks again

The dash vent is not blocked- the clip doesn't get in the way of air flow. Dash mat is Coverking bought through Costco web site- carpet, not velour. Three years old, still looks new, stops dust and glare.

SW Florida, don't let sun near it, if you are doing the ultragauge, they have a disclaimer in the fine print, sun could be a problem, mine the velcro released and it dropped to the carpeted floor, don't know what cracked the lens but ultragauge doesn't mind charging for shipping and rebuild.

!
^^^ That is where I mounted mine as well. It blocked that pesky TPMS Light but also din't block any important warning lights.

I was thinking of mounting mine there also, unless I decide to leave it in the Tacoma, and get an Ultra Gauge. UG is a lot taller, and wouldn't work there.
I'm leaning toward using the SG, and if I need it for code reading or a trip in the truck, just swap it back.
I think I can write down the setting for each vehicle, and reset, when I swap vehicles.
Thanks for the info.

I initially would put my scangauge in front of the center cupholders like the picture above, and held it in place with doublesided tape. But I had trouble resetting it when I'd gas up, and I like to leave it displaying miles to empty.
Since both front seat occupants have a cupholder on the edge of the dash, and another inside their door, I now just put the scangauge right in the two center cupholders, with nothing but gravity holding it. Easy to read, easy to pick up to change settings when I gas up. It rests atop the cable to it, that is just doubled back and forth under it, in the cupholders. Not elegant, not in the way, easy to read, easy to use.
